We will be at the Obon Festival this coming Saturday, July 13th. For those who never attended the event, most people arrive around 5:00-6:30pm as the Obon parade begins at 7:30 pm (the event brings in around 1,000-1,500 people). But you can go inside where food vendors are located for those that want to get out of the sun. The event is free but the food and carnival games do cost money. Also, a reminder for those who have not attended the event in years, the new location is at 2690 East Alluvial Ave near Chestnut and Willow.
